Bethany’s patterns are created from small sections of her large-scale paintings.

This process gives her artwork new life, extending it into functional design. In doing so, she continues her exploration of form creating new form, echoing nature’s endless cycles of growth.

While painting, Bethany explores the contrast between fluidity + structure. You’ll find evidence of this in her patterns which appear geometric from afar, but leave painterly layers beneath.
